I’ve never been a very fashionable person. I typically wear black (mostly because it’s neutral and it can hide spills when I inevitably choke on my tea). Over the years I’ve migrated to dresses because I can’t kick someone as easily in pants as I can in a dress. Waistbands are constrictive! Especially after lunch.
A dress gives full range of motion AND pockets deep enough to carry my wallet, my phone, and my Kindle. Also, dresses are one piece, so I don’t have to think about matching a top AND a bottom—the fewer decisions I need to make in a day, the better.
