Well, you know where I live. About an hour from this sordid saga. Even though I grew up in rural South Carolina, I forgot how batshit crazy it could get.
Yes, he's guilty. Yes, he'll probably get off.
I ran two law firms as a prior career. I don't know a single attorney who would miss $10 million. Those people fight amongst themselves over every cent. There is no fucking way the rest of those assholes didn't know he was stealing. They're ALL stealing from their clients, and they're throwing this drama out as a smokescreen. The feds need to dismantle that entire law firm and the whole law enforcement apparatus there, lock a bunch of people up, and start over.
I could go on and on and on about the corruption in Hampton County, but it isn't only there. This whole state is riddled with families like the Murdaughs.
I wonder what Maggie and Paul's last moments were like. I write that shit in my head. Did Maggie finally start unraveling from the years of pent up secrets? Did she start screaming every single one of his sins into the ears of Paul? Or did she go silently into the dark night? What was Paul doing/saying? Probably sniveling in his shirt, begging for the last time to be saved by his daddy, only this time, the saving came as the end of it all - and why couldn't that chicken shit end himself!?
What do I think? I think you are hilarious. Mostly cuz that how my brain works. Not involved in this situation. Not involved as in I haven't followed this one, not as in "not involved, never was involved, involve? Who me? My name doesn't even stay with?M? As in what you Talkin about Willis?
Unfuckingbelievable. This whole story is nuts. I am holding out hope for a conviction but you are probably right. Everything else you’ve said is 100%.
And yes!!! The names!!! Wtaf?
I do feel sympathy for Conor, Anthony, Miley, and Morgan. Anthony looks like a shell of a person in the Netflix series. That poor boy is broken. Obviously the parents too. “PawPaw” ruined so many lives.
I absolutely believe he's guilty. The Netflix documentary stated Maggie had been to see a divorce attorney some time before her death. I don't know if I believe the drug usage story. I think that is an excuse or a way to try to cover up his lies. The drugs he claimed to have bought with the money he stole from his law firm he could not have consumed in his lifetime. The power went to his head and he thought he could get away with anything. Crimes had been ignored and covered up for years. Everyone of those involved in helping cover up the crimes should be fired and charged for dereliction of duty regardless of their position in any law enforcement agency.
Guilty. Watched the Netflix documentary show thing. Yeah. I remember watching parts of this on Dateline or one of the other shows. All of the ones murdered (son, wife, housekeeper) have reasons for why they’d be murdered. And it’s so obvious too. It’s not like it’s some super secret that no one can figure out. It’s right under one’s nose.

HOLY EFFING SH*T!

I've never thought he'll walk. He's so disgustingly fucking guilty I would be afraid of the public if I were a juror who let that whiny bitch go.
It's like you read my mind! How can anyone even think he's not guilty? And what a strange, to say the least, family.

After watching Dateline I was pretty sure he did it....and if he gets off....I will be sick.
He is guilty AF but will not be convicted, unfortunately. I'm amazed at this entire story, it's completely unreal.
Oh, he's guilty, but his name will let him walk.
Guilty AF
I don't think he's gonna walk. I think he's going down!!

I haven't watch any of it because I can't stand to look at that rat bastard.
I mean, it's in his surname.
But seriously, I didn't even know anything about this until I saw it on the BBC news. Crazy (and awful, awful) stuff. I need to play catch up.
